Leadership For The Biosphere

All worldviews agree: there is a need to take care of Mother Earth. Mother Earth for this blogger is not the uterus of human life. It is the sustainer of it. If indeed macro-evolution is truth, then the billions of years for the planet's existence is the time frame for which she was the sustainer of life's origins to include Homo Sapiens. This blogger is quick to say that based on his musings on biospheric life using the tool of philosophy: nothing comes out of nothing. There must be a cause to produce the effect. There must be a designer and purpose to make-up this reality. And based on scientific data: genetic mutations are regressive not evolutionarily progressive. Darwnistic evidence is getting more near zero as the fossil diggings have gone deeper.
Stewardship of nature, environmental management..call it with whatever name...we are to be leaders of nature, the biosphere. This is the home we share with the rest of living organisms.
This blogger does not want to join the politics of this issue. The politicking going on is destroying the earth more than leading it. The shouting to the other camp, the violence, the emotions..these pollute the spirit of this earth. So, this blogger has one word.
If we are to lead the biosphere: balance man's need along with the available resource.
The 'green activists' follow the lines of bias towards the biosphere. They sometimes kill the inhabitant Mankind in the process. The 'conservative' conserve Man over the resource.
This blogger will live within his means as a rule in life. He cannot speak for others but can encourage to do the same. As we lead people to live austere lives, we unstuff, we unclutter, we enjoy more freedom of movement. We pursue green technologies. This is the balancing act, the leadership we will do for the biosphere. It is a dream, it is our dream.
